Members love our value-added services.

As a Dell Children’s Health Plan member, you can expect more. On top of the health care coverage you get with any CHIP or STAR health plan, we offer many value-added services that our members love!

Limitations and restrictions may apply. This list is not all inclusive. See your member handbook for more information and how to get these services. Items with (*) are not available for CHIP Perinate members.

The following value-added services are available beginning September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026.

Earn rewards for doing healthy activities, like getting certain checkups or vaccines
  • $20 reward each year for getting annual Texas Health Steps or well-child checkups on time.*
  • $50 reward for each timely Texas Health Steps or well-child checkup at 18, 24 and 30 months.
  • $120 reward for members who get all 6 Texas Health Steps or well-child checkup, newborn through 15 months.
  • $50 reward for members age 9 through 13 who get the full series of the Immunizations for Adolescents (IMA), which is the full series of the HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine, one dose of meningococcal vaccine and one Tdap vaccine.
  • $25 reward for women receiving a chlamydia screening by age 24. STAR members only.
  • $25 gift card for over-the-counter products for members age 3 and older for getting an annual flu vaccine.
  • $20 reward for members newly diagnosed with ADHD and have a follow-up visit with their provider within 30 days of starting medication treatment.
  • $75 reward for getting a prenatal checkup in the first trimester or within 42 days of enrollment with the health plan in any trimester.
  • $100 reward for getting a postpartum checkup 7 to 84 days after giving birth.
  • $75 reward for members who complete 5 of the “Combo 10” vaccines and an additional $125 reward for members who complete all of the “Combo 10” vaccines by 24 months of age.
Vision services
  • Up to $100 every two years toward upgraded eyeglass lenses and frames or contact lenses, in addition to their standard Medicaid vision benefit.

Club memberships
  • Membership at participating YMCA locations for members through age 14.
  • Planet Fitness membership for members 15 years and older.
  • Overnight summer and spring break camps at El Ranchito for members 9 to 18 years old.
Safety gear for your family
  • Convertible car seat for completing six prenatal visits. (One car seat per pregnancy per child)
Sports and school physicals
  • One sports or school physical every 12 months for members through age 18.
Asthma, diabetes, weight management and hypertension management
  • Allergy-free pillow and mattress covers (once every 12 months) are available to members diagnosed with asthma who participate in the asthma service coordination program.
  • $50 one time reward when in Service Coordination for Diabetes and complete: Blood sugar (HbA1c), Kidney Health and Diabetic Eye Exam .
  • $20 reward for members ages 6-12 who are newly found to have ADHD and have had a follow-up visit with their provider within 30 days after starting their medication treatment.
Mental well-being

NeuroFlow is a free 24/7 secure online tool accessible through web or mobile app to help members learn to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic pain or substance use. Members access NeuroFlow by logging into their account at Member.MagellanHealthcare.com or by downloading the NeuroFlow app on their mobile device. For members 18 years and older.

  3. Click the Next button
  4. Once you arrive at the NeuroFlow registration page, enter your information and create a password.
  5. Review and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Education support
  • Students between grades 9 and 12 are eligible for a $25 reward card per semester for the following achievements by the end of the school year (limit two reward cards per school year):
    • A GPA of 3.0 or greater
    • Attendance record of 90% or higher
    • Attending an IEP or 504 meeting
  • GED preparation through online classes and coaching.
  • General Education Diploma (GED) test covered for members.
  • Expert guidance for children with health conditions in public schools needing IEP or 504 accommodations.
Support for members with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Rewards for students between grades 9 and 12 are eligible for a $25 reward card per semester for the following achievements by the end of the school year (limit two reward cards per school year):
    • A GPA of 3.0 or greater.
    • Attendance record of 90% or higher
    • Attending an IEP or 504 meeting
  • Educational advocacy assistance for members with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • GoManda learning app for children ages 2 to 8 with autism or speech delay.
24-hour Nurse HelpLine
  • Call our 24-hour Nurse HelpLine at 1-855-712-6700 (TTY 7-1-1) for advice or help finding care anytime–day or night–and on holidays.
Extra help getting a ride

Help getting a ride to WIC offices, food banks, grocery stores, Dell Children’s Health Plan meetings, pregnancy and birthing classes, child day care, houses of worship, Simply Safety Centers, employment search locations, libraries and other approved locations.

  • To schedule a ride, please call 1-844‐867‐2742 (TTY 7-1-1) or use the Access2Care app, available from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Dell Children’s Health Plan will use Access2Care to arrange travel.
  • You can call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Spiritual care

Spiritual care attends to our members’ spiritual needs as they cope with illness, loss, grief or pain and to help them heal emotionally, regaining a sense of spiritual well-being.

Chaplains can be reached via telephone Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central time at 1-833-789-4487.
