Quality improvement
Dell Children’s Health Plan works with providers to provide quality services to our members. As a provider, you may access our provider manual which provides administrative information, including but not limited to our quality program, standards for participation in our network, utilization management, care/disease management and claims submission.
Dell Children’s Health Plan Quality Team works with providers to:
- Provide annual provider profile reports
- Complete chart audits on THSteps compliance to ensure compliance to HHSC THSteps assessment and documentation requirements.
- Meet with all providers that are participating in Dell Children’s Health Plan Alternative Payment Model (APM) programs at least quarterly to review providers performance to quality measures listed in the APM agreements.
- Work with providers annually during the HEDIS Medical Record Review process and collect charts to ensure the best rates for HEDIS Quality Measure performance for the plan and provider. View the most recent HEDIS Guidebook.
- Work with applicable provider groups/offices to conduct various provider quality initiatives that support HHSC driven Quality Performance Improvement Projects. This can include provider staff training, chart audits or other initiatives to drive improved member outcomes and performance measure rates.
