How to join Dell Children’s Health Plan

STAR Medicaid provides health care to children, pregnant women and families. Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) is a health care program for children whose families do not qualify for Medicaid.

Find your family size below. If your income is at or below the amount listed, you may qualify for STAR Medicaid or CHIP.

*Income is money you get paid before taxes are taken out.
**A family of one might be a child who does not live with a parent.

NOTE: These income levels are set by the federal government and are adjusted every year, effective April 1st.

To start or check the status of your application, go to YourTexasBenefits.com and create an account, or download the Your Texas Benefits mobile app, to apply for CHIP or STAR Medicaid. Or you can call 2-1-1 to start your application.
