  • 24-hour Nurse HelpLine: Call 1-855-712-6700 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to talk to a nurse. A nurse can answer any questions you may have and help you find the care you need.
  • Magellan Behavioral Health: Case management services for members with chronic, multiple, complex medical and behavioral health needs. If you need help finding a behavioral health provider near you, call 1-800-424-1764 or go to MagellanAssist.com and use the provider search tool. You can also call Member Services for help.
  • SAFEline: Call 512-267-SAFE (7233) or text 737-888-7233. SAFEline crisis intervention specialists are trained to handle calls from survivors, families and allies who need support with situations of sexual abuse, sexual harassment, domestic violence, child abuse and human trafficking.
  • The Suicide and Crisis Lifeline: Call 9-8-8 to speak to a crisis intervention counselor 24 hours a day.
  • National Maternal Mental Health Hotline: (not for crises) offers 24/7, free, confidential support before, during and after pregnancy. Call or text 1-833-943-5746 (1-833-9-HELP4MOMS).
  • Postpartum Support International Warmline: Call 1-800-994-4773 (press 1 for Spanish, 2 for English).
  • Text4Baby: Free mobile tip program for all pregnant women for free SMS text messages each week, timed to your due date or your baby’s birth date through their first birthday. You can sign up for the service by texting BABY to 511411. Text BEBE to 511411 for Spanish.
  • Service Coordination: Call 512-324-3015 or toll-free 1-844-964-3015 and ask to speak to a service coordinator. Service coordinators are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time. You can also leave a private voicemail or email dchp-CM@ascension.org.
  • Community Outreach: Call 512-324-3247 (DCHP) or email DCHPCommunityOutreach@ascension.org Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time.
  • Healthy Texas Women Program: This program offers women’s health and family planning services at no cost to eligible, low-income women such as women’s health exams, health screenings and birth control. Breast and cervical cancer screening is also available to qualified women. For more information, call 2-1-1, pick a language and then press 2, or 1-877-541-7905. You can also visit healthytexaswomen.org.
  • What to do in an emergency: If you have an emergency, you should call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room right away. For urgent care, you should call your doctor even on nights and weekends. They will tell you what to do. If you call the doctor’s office when it’s closed, leave a message with your name and a phone number where you can be reached. Someone should call you back within 30 minutes to tell you what to do.
